For high-precision finishing and complex geometries, the toolroom features state-of-the-art wire-cut EDM systems (Soddick and Charmilles), precision surface and cylindrical grinders (Jones-Shipman and Studer), and rapid prototyping capabilities through Stratasys 3D printing and Concept Laser metal additive manufacturing. This comprehensive suite of technology ensures that every project benefits from exceptional accuracy, speed, and technical excellence.
Quality Insepction
Marvel Moulds maintains a world-class Quality Inspection department dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of dimensional accuracy and product integrity. The facility is equipped with industry-leading metrology equipment, including Mitutoyo CMM (Crysta-Apex V574) and Mitutoyo LH-600 linear height gauges for precise 3D measurements. Their inspection capabilities are further enhanced by high-resolution Profile Projectors and the RAPID-I VMS (Video Measuring System) with CMM functionality for non-contact and intricate part analysis. All inspections are performed on high-precision Mitutoyo black granite surface plates, providing a stable and reliable environment for verifying tight tolerances and maintaining the rigorous quality control that Marvel Moulds is known for.
